Innovation (Food Chains)
QUICK ORDERING SYSTEM DEVICE
Most of the
people in the city goes to fast food chains that is why it is often crowded.
Good and faster services are some factors to be considered in a fast food chain
to value their customers that is why I came up with an idea of helping them to
make their services and transactions with the customers a lot faster, and
organized.
My idea is to
make a new ordering system device. In ordering, this device is a lot faster and
more accurate than ordering in the usual way. Customers don’t need to line up
for a long duration of time to order but will use this device to order faster
without waiting for their turn. This is a device that will print out an
ordering slip with a serving number included, where all of the products of the
fast food chain are listed and has small circles at the side of each product to
shade on. Customers will order by just shading the small circles. After
shading, customers will insert the ordering slip back to the device and the
device will read and scan every shaded circle and automatically, the device
will summarize all of the ordered products and the total cost. A big screen
will be attached to the cooking area in which all of the orders of the
customers are shown. Customers will find vacant seats and pay their orders in
the cash slot provided in each table through inserting their summarized order
cost. After paying, the device prints out the receipt of the ordered products
automatically and will return the change, if there is.
The big screen
and the ordering device are connected, and after the customer orders and pays,
the big screen automatically updates and show all of the customers’ orders, and
the workers will then prepare all of it. Customers will be given number cards
according to the serving number in their slip so that waiters can easily track
them. When order is ready, customers will have to present the receipt to the
waiter. After the customers received their order, they can now enjoy their
happy meal.
